Activities and Events

St Aidan’s Day Nursery has a wide range of activities and events throughout the year

Swimming Opportunities for our children

We are extremely fortunate to work closely with the Richard Rose Central Academy staff at the swimming pool, which allows us to offer children aged 3.5 years old free swimming lessons, (children claiming grant sessions are exempt from this). The children thrive on this and builds up confidence, self-esteem, and safety, a very unique activity we can offer.

Special Events Held During the Year

The nursery holds many spectacular events for parents and their children outside nursery hours, including, Bonfire and Halloween Fayre, Easter Fayre, children's Christmas parties, Nativity and Carol Concerts, Assemblies, Sports Day, Annual Summer Trip, and the Leavers Prom.
We believe parental involvement is key to helping build up relationships with peers and other families.
